This panettone has a dough of fresh eggs, butter, reed sugar and honey, naturally flavored with whole Bourbon vanilla from Madagascar and leavened with small quantities of Filippi's mother dough.  The mother dough has be guarded and kept alive with regular daily refreshments for 50 years.  This traditional recipe has loads of candied black cherries!
